HARMAN is looking for a Repairability & Field Quality Specialist, to join their office in Kvistgård, 3490. In this position, there will be no direct end-user contact, but lots of interdisciplinary communication across departments – especially in technical service and support. As a Repairability & Field Quality Specialist at HARMAN, you will be responsible for developing new processes to make sure that quality and efficiency regarding the service and repair of Harman products. This will be achieved through consistent cooperation with our service centers and by understanding the different repair procedures and the related costs, timeframes, etc.

You will in other words help build the new repairability system by deciding “what to repair”, “how to repair” and “where to repair”. You will work in close cooperation with an international team consisting of engineers and technicians.

Your primary job responsibilities will be:

  • Developing the customer experience in all repairs by working close with our network of external service centers to enhance cooperation, service, data quality and system integration with internal and external customers.
  • Improvement in the repair process incl. how to repair, what to repair and build and finally improvement of the repairability system for future EU EcoDesigns.
  • Visiting service centers with the aim of gaining knowledge of their individual processes and the quality of the result relative to resources used.
  • Working in a team in Denmark to control, analyze and improve the quality of the warranty reclamations and cost optimization.
  • After-sales repairability and service quality development.
  • Service center optimization and product repairability improvements.
  • Implementation, optimization, and project execution of repairability and service quality initiatives.
  • Development of processes and on a regular basis to deliver training on products and updates.
  • Test and get to know new products, so you are prepared for future repairability questions.

Preferably, you have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as service technician or service lead needed to perform the core responsibilities.
  • Education as an Electronic Technician, Academic Engineering, Radio Mechanic, etc.
  • Repair knowledge of Audio products and an understanding of Service centers setup.
  • Able to speak and write in English on a professional level.

  • Implementation and project experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Interest in Sustainability and EcoDesign.

As a person you are driven, have a natural curiosity about new trends and innovation, and you thrive in a matrix organization. You possess a structured working approach and like to optimize processes and make sure that the customer gets as much value as possible for their money. You have a good technical understanding and communicate easily in English and across national borders. Furthermore, you like to travel occasionally between our local office and the service centers in Europe we partner with. (Max. 20-30 days a year)
